Some Variety of Walking Clock

“Crowilition” is so far my best-selling album, despite it only containing guitars and vocals and almost all of the songs on it are incredibly depressing. It’s also the one that has received the most press and has gotten the most attention. 

First off, I’d like to say “thank you”. This album was never meant to be anything more than personal therapy and I never intended it to be liked by a lot of people. 

So, I thought I’d give you guys a little treat this weekend to celebrate the one month anniversary of its release.

I’ve pretty much gotten used to the fact that I’ll probably continue to sabotage every relationship (romantic or otherwise) thanks to a combination of nervousness, paranoia, social anxiety, and over-affection.

It’s hindered me at every turn and I don’t think it’s going away any time soon, so I guess I’ll have to learn to live with it.

Bleh.

The first single from the album will be a song called “Three-Legged Woman”, about falling in love with a transgendered woman. It’s a song close to my heart because it was the easiest to write when it came to coming up with the chord progression, and I’ve been in the narrator’s shoes once or twice in my life.

Also, there seems to be a lack of songs about transgendered youth, so I thought I might as well write one.

That’s the next album’s title.

99% of the material for it is written up and I’ve recorded demos for all of the songs.

But, I will not be recording the next album until I have more than one other person working with me on it.

So not only will I attempt to have the next album sound more “alive with pleasure flavor”, but it will also be the first album I will be releasing under the “Al Riggs and the Inconveniences” moniker, since it won’t be just me.

What else can I tell you..um…

I really really love the titling/your name here. Have you thought about making that your official logo type thingy? It’s really striking.

I totally agree, and I’m happy to say that I didn’t come up with anything in this poster. Naz is a brilliant little fucker.

And yes, as a logo I think this could work. That’s pretty much how I write things down anyway.
